Saraswati Educational Foundation

The gift of knowledge

Building confidence and opportunity for rural children through Ram Krishnaa Academy.

The foundation

Learning closer to home

Saraswati Educational Foundation began its educational work in 2006 by establishing Ram Krishnaa Academy at Harigram/Kewale on the New Panvel–Morbe Road.

The Maharashtra State Board-affiliated English-medium school was made possible through a ₹1 crore contribution from VCT founder Late Shri V. R. Kamath. It was named in memory of his parents, Late Shri Kodibet Ramaray Kamath and Late Smt. Krishnabai Kamath.

The school building was inaugurated on 30 January 2010 by H. H. Swamiji of Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math. The Academy seeks to bridge the rural–urban opportunity gap and enable students to compete confidently with their urban peers.
